Burglars Strike Gold Coast Market in Chicago for Second Time in Two Weeks

On the night of October 10, 2023, burglars struck the Gold Coast Market located at 900 N Clark St, Chicago, Illinois, on the Near North Side. This is the second time in two weeks that the market has been targeted in a smash-and-grab burglary. The burglars smashed the front window of the store and made off with an estimated $5,000 in cash and merchandise. The suspects escaped the scene in a vehicle.
