Burglary and Theft in Heysham: Police Issue Warning After Series of Incidents

Police in Heysham have issued a warning to residents following a series of burglaries and thefts on Heysham Street. The incidents occurred on the night of October 13, 2023, when unknown suspects gained entry to multiple properties by forcing open windows and doors. The thieves targeted high-value items, including jewelry and electronics, with an estimated total value of over £10,000.

In one of the burglaries, the suspects were disturbed by the homeowner, leading to a brief confrontation. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but the suspects managed to escape with the stolen items. The police have not made any arrests as of yet and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the suspects.
