Theft of equipment and fuel in Selby

According to an article published on 27 February 2024 by Yorkpress, thieves have targeted a building site located near the Staynor Hall estate in Selby. North Yorkshire Police report that a series of break-ins occurred between noon on Friday, 16 February, and 7am on Monday, 19 February.

During the incidents, suspects cut large holes into cabins to gain access. Tools, diesel, and a wheelbarrow were stolen from the premises. Authorities believe the individuals involved may have accessed the site via a gate at the rear, which backs toward Selby College.
