Burglary at Matlock Jewelry Store Leads to Arrests

On 21st April 2023, a burglary occurred at a jewelry store located at 114 Bakewell Road, Matlock. The thieves gained entry by smashing the front window of the store. They stole jewelry valued at £20,000. The thieves escaped the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.

Police responded to the incident and launched an investigation. Two suspects, both from the High Peak area, were arrested in connection with the burglary. The suspects were identified as 28-year-old John Doe and 32-year-old Jane Smith. They were charged with burglary and theft. The police appeal for any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward.
