Burglary at Rockland Business Leads to Arrest

A man from Hope was arrested following a break-in at a business located at 100 Main Street, Rockland, Maine, on October 15. The suspect, who was out on bail for several previous business burglaries, was identified as a 35-year-old Rockland resident. The man gained entry by breaking a window and made off with over $3,000 in cash and merchandise.

Police responded to the scene and found the suspect fleeing the area. The suspect was apprehended a short distance away, and no injuries were reported. The stolen items, valued at over $3,000, were recovered during the arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft.
