Burglary at Saints Star Cam Jordan's Home in Old Metairie

Two Georgia men were arrested in connection with the burglary of Saints player Cam Jordan's home in Old Metairie, Louisiana. The burglary occurred during a recent Saints game, with the suspects entering the residence through a rear window. The thieves made off with a significant amount of jewelry, valued at approximately $200,000, and a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and other valuables.

The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Robert Smith and 30-year-old Michael Johnson, were apprehended after a brief chase. Both men were injured during their escape attempt, with Smith suffering a gunshot wound to the leg and Johnson sustaining a minor injury to his arm. The suspects were taken to a local hospital for treatment before being booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
