Burglary at Vinton Gun Shop

On the night of October 22, 2023, a burglary occurred at a gun shop located at 1000 Main Street in Vinton, Virginia. Surveillance cameras captured the incident, showing two suspects breaking into the shop through a rear window. The suspects, who were wearing masks and gloves, managed to steal 12 firearms and a significant amount of ammunition, valued at over $15,000. The suspects escaped the scene in a dark-colored sedan, which was also captured on the surveillance footage.

Police responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. The Vinton Police Department has released the surveillance footage to the public and is appealing for any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects. The department has also requested that anyone with information about the burglary or the suspects' whereabouts contact them immediately. No injuries were reported in the incident.
