Burglary in Council Bluffs Leads to Police Investigation

On April 23, 2024, a burglary was reported at a residence on the 1200 block of Avenue G in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The suspect entered the home through a rear window, which was left open. The thief made off with a variety of items, including a 55-inch Samsung television, a 40-inch Toshiba television, and a 12-inch MacBook Pro laptop. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be around $2,500.

The suspect was able to escape the scene undetected. There were no reported injuries during the incident.
