Burglary in Grand Island Leads to Arrests, Valuables Stolen

On October 2, 2023, a burglary occurred in Grand Island, Nebraska, at a residence on the 2000 block of West 12th Street. The suspects entered the home through an unlocked window, stealing an estimated $10,000 in jewelry. The burglars escaped the scene before law enforcement arrived, and no injuries were reported.

Two individuals, a 24-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, were later arrested in connection with the burglary. The woman was apprehended in Grand Island, while the man was taken into custody in Lincoln. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could aid in their investigation.
