Man lit fires and flooded basement in Norwich restaurant raid

On 27th November, a man broke into a restaurant on St. Benedict's Street in Norwich. He set fires and flooded the basement, causing significant damage. The man escaped with a safe containing approximately £10,000 in cash and valuables. He was later arrested in connection with the incident.

Norfolk Constabulary has confirmed that the man was apprehended after a thorough investigation. The restaurant, which was closed at the time of the incident, sustained extensive damage due to the fires and flooding. No injuries were reported. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
