Deadly Berea Bank Robbery Leaves Two Employees Dead

On October 2, 2023, a brazen robbery at the First Kentucky Bank in Berea, Kentucky, resulted in the deaths of two employees. The incident occurred around 10:30 AM when an armed suspect entered the bank and opened fire, fatally shooting two employees. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The 911 recordings reveal the chaos that ensued immediately after the shooting. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and described the suspect as a white male wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The suspect was seen fleeing the bank and running south on Main Street. The police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the robbery, and the suspect remains at large.
