Former Trooper Accused of Breaking into Daytona Beach Hooters, Stealing Beer Taps

A former Florida trooper has been accused of breaking into the Daytona Beach Hooters located at 1410 N. Atlantic Ave. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The suspect is alleged to have stolen beer taps valued at $2,000. According to reports, the suspect broke into the establishment through a window and made off with the taps. The suspect was later identified as a former Florida trooper.

The suspect was apprehended on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, after a brief chase. No injuries were reported during the incident. The Daytona Beach Police Department is appealing to the public for any additional information that could aid in the investigation.
