Home Invasion and Burglary in Savannah

On July 20, 2023, a home invasion and burglary occurred at a residence on the 300 block of East 37th Street in Savannah, Georgia. The suspect, who was later identified as a Savannah bank robbery suspect, entered the residence through a rear window, using a crowbar to gain entry. The suspect stole a total of $20,000 in cash and jewelry, valued at approximately $15,000, from the home.

The suspect was seen fleeing the scene on foot and has not yet been apprehended. No injuries were reported during the incident. The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department is actively investigating the case and has appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
