Home Invasion and Robbery in Sewickley

Two men have been charged in connection with a home invasion and robbery that occurred in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. The incident took place on the evening of October 10, 2023, at a residence on Beaver Street. The suspects, identified as 30-year-old John Doe and 28-year-old Jane Smith, forced their way into the home through a rear door, which had been unlocked.

During the robbery, the homeowner, a 45-year-old man, was assaulted and sustained minor injuries. The suspects stole jewelry valued at $20,000 before fleeing the scene. The homeowner was able to provide a description of the suspects to the police, which aided in their identification and subsequent arrest. The suspects were apprehended a short distance from the crime scene, approximately 10 minutes after the incident. Both suspects are currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail and are awaiting further legal proceedings.
