Liquor Store Robbed in West Hartford, Two Arrested

On November 17, 2023, two men from Hartford were arrested for robbing a liquor store in West Hartford, Connecticut. The incident occurred at the Liquor World store located at 1000 Farmington Avenue. The suspects, identified as 28-year-old Christopher Smith and 32-year-old Michael Johnson, entered the store around 9:30 PM and demanded cash from the register. They escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and a small quantity of cigarettes.

The suspects were apprehended by police a short distance from the scene. Neither the suspects nor the store employees were injured during the incident. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could assist in their ongoing investigation.
