Man Arrested for Robbing Two Dollar General Stores in Auburn

A 36-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in connection with the robbery of two Dollar General stores in Auburn, Washington. The first robbery occurred at the Dollar General located at 3410 Auburn Way N on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM. The suspect entered the store and demanded cash from the register, fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The second robbery took place at the Dollar General located at 2030 Auburn Way S on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at approximately 11:00 PM. In this incident, the suspect also demanded cash and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported in either incident.

The suspect was apprehended after a brief pursuit by police. He was identified as a 36-year-old man from Auburn.
