Man Burglarizes Three Restaurants in Hunter, New York, in Two Days

On October 14 and 15, a man burglarized three restaurants in Hunter, New York. The first burglary occurred at the Hunter Mountain Lodge, where the suspect broke in through a window and stole $1,000 in cash. The second burglary took place at the Hunter Mountain Inn, where the suspect entered through an unlocked door and stole $500 in cash and a laptop. The third burglary happened at the Hunter Mountain Lodge, where the suspect broke in through a window and stole $2,000 in cash and a safe containing $3,000 in cash and jewelry.

The suspect was arrested on December 15, 2023, after being identified through surveillance footage and other evidence. The New York State Police (NYSP) have not released the suspect's name or any further details about the arrest. The NYSP is appealing to the public for any additional information that could help in the investigation. No injuries were reported in any of the burglaries, and the suspect escaped without confrontation in all three incidents.
