Man Shot During Home Invasion in Springfield, Florida

On Thursday, August 11, 2022, at approximately 1:30 AM, a home invasion occurred at a residence on the 100 block of North Main Street in Springfield, Florida. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) reported that two armed suspects forced their way into the home, shooting a man inside. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects, described as two black males, one wearing a black hoodie and the other a white hoodie, fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan. The burglars stole cash and jewelry valued at $20,000. No arrests have been made, and the JSO is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and capture of the suspects.
