Merseyside Police Issue Public Appeal Following Residential Burglary in Southport

Merseyside Police have launched a public appeal for information following a burglary at a residential property in Southport. Detectives are urging local residents to check their CCTV, video doorbells, and dashcam footage for any suspicious activity around the time of the break-in.

The burglary is believed to have taken place between the afternoon and early evening hours, when the occupants of the home were away. Intruders forced entry through a rear window and searched the premises, stealing several personal items, including jewelry and small electronic devices.

Forensic teams have examined the property, and officers are conducting house-to-house inquiries in the neighborhood. Police are particularly keen to identify any unfamiliar vehicles or individuals seen loitering in the area during the day of the incident.
