Oakland Murder Suspect Arrested in Citrus Heights Home Invasion

An Oakland murder suspect, who was out on bail, was arrested following a home invasion in Citrus Heights, California. The incident occurred on November 17, 2023, at a residence on the 8000 block of Greenback Lane. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Michael Johnson, broke into the home through a rear window and stole approximately $50,000 worth of jewelry.

During the invasion, the suspect was injured and left a trail of blood, which led police to his location. Johnson was apprehended at a nearby residence on the 8000 block of Greenback Lane, where he was found hiding. The homeowner was not injured during the incident.
