Organized Retail Theft at Corvallis Ulta Beauty Results in Arrests and Sentencing

On April 28, 2023, a swift and organized retail theft occurred at the Ulta Beauty store located at 3000 SW Western Blvd, Corvallis, Oregon. Three suspects entered the store, grabbed high-value items, and fled the scene in less than 90 seconds. The stolen merchandise, valued at approximately $10,000, included cosmetics, skincare products, and fragrances. The suspects, who were later identified as three individuals from out of town, escaped in a waiting vehicle.

Corvallis Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. The suspects were apprehended a short distance from the store. One of the suspects was injured during the arrest and required medical attention. The police recovered a significant portion of the stolen merchandise, valued at around $8,000, from the suspects' vehicle. The police have not disclosed the exact nature of the injuries sustained by the suspect.

All three suspects were charged with organized retail theft and related crimes. Two of the suspects pleaded guilty and were sentenced to prison terms. The third suspect is awaiting trial.
