Organized Smash-and-Grab Crews Target Two Businesses in Sherman Oaks

On the evening of October 1, 2023, two businesses in Sherman Oaks, California, were targeted by organized smash-and-grab crews. The first incident occurred at a jewelry store on Ventura Boulevard, where a group of individuals smashed the front window and stole approximately $50,000 worth of merchandise. The second incident took place at a nearby electronics store, where the crew broke through the front door and made off with an estimated $30,000 in goods, including laptops and smartphones.

According to witnesses, the suspects arrived in multiple vehicles and executed their operations with precision, escaping the scene within minutes. No injuries were reported, and the suspects remain at large. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
