Pharmacy Robbery in Mentor

Mentor police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy located at 8489 Mentor Avenue. The incident occurred on the evening of October 5, 2023. The suspect, described as a male, entered the pharmacy around 9:30 PM, brandished a handgun, and demanded prescription drugs and cash from the pharmacy's safe.

According to reports, the suspect managed to escape with an estimated $5,000 in cash and a substantial amount of prescription medication. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect fled the scene on foot and has not yet been apprehended. Police are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
