Police appeal after 'smash and grab' at Skipton wine shop

The incident occurred during the early hours of Monday, 24 March 2025. Intruders smashed the front window of the premises to gain entry, triggering the store's security alarm. Once inside, the perpetrators quickly targeted high-value wines, rare vintages, and premium spirits before fleeing the scene. The owner of the shop expressed deep distress over the extensive damage caused to the shopfront and the loss of curated stock.
