Police sergeant denies burglary and computer misuse in Bridgend

A 34-year-old police sergeant, Ben Cooke from Rhondda Cynon Taf, has appeared in court to deny charges of burglary and the misuse of police computers. The officer is accused of breaking into a residential property located in Bridgend.

The charges against Sgt Cooke include the theft of a safe containing £16,000. Legal proceedings are currently underway regarding these allegations.
