Residential Burglary in Topeka Leads to Arrest

On October 1, 2023, a residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas. The burglars gained entry by breaking a window and stole an estimated $10,000 in jewelry.

Following an investigation, a 34-year-old Topeka man was arrested in connection with the burglary. The suspect was apprehended after fleeing the scene on foot and attempting to hide in a nearby wooded area. No injuries were reported during the incident.
