Richmond Man Accused of Robbing Clerks at Two Local Convenience Stores

On the night of October 2, 2023, two convenience stores in Richmond, Indiana, were robbed by a man who threatened the clerks with a weapon. The first robbery occurred at the Circle K store on South 10th Street, and the second at the 7-Eleven on South 13th Street, both within a span of 30 minutes.

The suspect, identified as 28-year-old John Doe, is accused of stealing a total of $1,500 in cash from both stores. He fled the scene on foot after the robberies. Police were able to apprehend Doe a short distance from the 7-Eleven, where he was found with the stolen money. No injuries were reported during the incidents.
