Richmond O2 Store Robbed as Shoplifters Force Staff Into Stock Room

A high-street mobile phone retail store in Richmond has been targeted in a daring shoplifting incident that escalated into a coercive and frightening confrontation. Staff members at the Richmond O2 store were reportedly forced into a rear stock room by the perpetrators during the raid.

According to sources familiar with the incident, a group of shoplifters entered the premises and quickly intimidated the staff on duty. Under threat, the workers were directed to move to the back of the store, allowing the suspects to freely pillage the display counters and stock areas of valuable electronic goods, including smartphones and tablets.

Police were called to the scene shortly after the suspects fled. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported among the staff, though they were left deeply shaken by the ordeal. The Metropolitan Police have launched an appeal for witnesses, urging anyone who saw suspicious activity around the O2 store at the time of the incident to contact them.
