Smash-and-Grab Burglars Steal ATMs from Two Sylmar Stores

Two Sylmar stores were targeted in a smash-and-grab burglary early in the morning on October 19, 2023. The incidents occurred at a 7-Eleven and a nearby convenience store, both located on the 13000 block of Foothill Boulevard. Surveillance footage captured the burglars using a vehicle to smash through the storefronts, stealing two ATMs in the process.

The stolen ATMs are valued at approximately $20,000 each, totaling $40,000 in losses. The burglars escaped in a dark-colored SUV, and no arrests have been made at this time. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
