Smash-and-Grab Burglars Target Multiple Stores in Chicago

Three GameStop stores and a vape shop in Chicago were targeted by smash-and-grab burglars in a series of incidents last week. The vape shop, located on the North Side, was hit on Monday, while the GameStop stores were targeted on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The burglars used a similar modus operandi, smashing windows to gain entry and quickly grabbing merchandise before fleeing the scene. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be over $50,000.
