Teen Arrested After Home Invasion in Rockland, Maine

A teenager was arrested in connection with a home invasion that occurred in Rockland, Maine. The incident took place on the night of October 10, 2023, at a residence on Park Street. The suspect allegedly gained entry through a rear window, which was left open, and proceeded to steal several items from the home. The stolen items included a laptop, a television, and jewelry, valued at approximately $3,000.

The suspect, identified as a 17-year-old male, was apprehended by local authorities a short distance from the scene. The teen was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Knox County Jail. The homeowner, who was not present during the burglary, returned to find the items missing and immediately reported the incident to the Rockland Police Department. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could aid in their investigation.
