Two 7-Eleven Stores Robbed in Rockville, Maryland

On October 1, 2023, two 7-Eleven stores in Rockville, Maryland, were targeted in separate armed robberies. The first incident occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 1234 Rockville Pike, and the second at 5678 East Gude Drive. In both cases, the suspect, later identified as a 35-year-old Rockville man, entered the stores and demanded cash and cigarettes at gunpoint. The suspect escaped with a total of $2,000 in cash and an unspecified amount of cigarettes. No injuries were reported in either incident.

The Rockville Police Department responded to the scenes and launched an investigation. Surveillance footage and witness statements led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect. The man was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. The police have not released the suspect's name pending further investigation.
