Two Aurora Home Invasions Result in Theft of Jewelry and Cash

On the night of October 10, 2023, two separate home invasions occurred in Aurora, Illinois. The first incident took place at a residence on the 100 block of South Lake Street, where the suspect gained entry through an unlocked door. The second incident occurred at a home on the 200 block of West Galena Boulevard, where the suspect entered through a rear window. In both cases, the suspect stole jewelry and cash, with the total value of the stolen items estimated at $15,000. No injuries were reported in either incident.

The suspect, described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, was seen wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. He was captured on surveillance footage and images have been released by the York Police Department in an effort to identify him. The suspect is believed to have escaped on foot after the incidents.
