Two Burglaries in St. John, Indiana, Lead to Arrest

On the night of October 12, 2023, two separate burglaries occurred at businesses located at 8900 N. Cline Avenue and 8900 N. Cline Avenue in St. John, Indiana. The burglaries took place between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The perpetrator gained entry by breaking windows and forcing open doors.

In the first burglary, the suspect stole approximately $6,000 in cash and merchandise. In the second burglary, the suspect stole approximately $5,000 in cash and merchandise. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be over $10,000. The suspect was able to escape the scene without any injuries.

Police were able to apprehend a 27-year-old man from St. John in connection with the burglaries. The man was charged with two counts of burglary and theft. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could assist in their ongoing investigation.
