Two Stores Burglarized in West Loop, Chicago

Two stores on West Madison Street in Chicago's West Loop were targeted in smash-and-grab burglaries on October 2, 2023, minutes apart, according to the Chicago Police Department. The first incident occurred at a clothing store, where thieves smashed a window and stole approximately $5,000 in merchandise. The second incident took place at a nearby electronics store, where thieves broke in and made off with around $7,000 in goods. The thieves escaped the scene before police arrived.

The Chicago Police Department is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. No arrests have been made as of yet, and no injuries were reported in either incident.
