Two Teens Arrested After Attempted Gun Store Burglary in Town of Tonawanda

Two teenagers were arrested after an attempted burglary at a gun store in the Town of Tonawanda, New York. The incident occurred on the early morning of July 11, 2023, at the Tonawanda Gun Shop, located at 2850 Niagara Falls Boulevard. The suspects, both 16, attempted to break into the store by smashing a window and entering the premises. They were unsuccessful in their attempt to steal firearms and ammunition, which were valued at approximately $5,000.

Police were alerted to the burglary attempt and arrived at the scene within minutes. The suspects attempted to flee the area on foot but were quickly apprehended by law enforcement officers.
