Union Home Invasion Leads to Police Chase on I-78

Union, New Jersey, was the scene of a violent home invasion on an unspecified date, resulting in a high-speed police chase on I-78. Four suspects, who were part of a state-wide crime spree, were involved in the incident. The suspects forced their way into a residence on North Avenue, Union, and stole approximately $15,000 in cash and jewelry. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, leading to a pursuit by police that ended in Newark.

Union Police responded to the home invasion in progress, arriving at the scene on North Avenue. The suspects, upon seeing the police, fled the residence and attempted to escape in their vehicle. The police chase ensued, traveling eastbound on I-78 towards Newark. No injuries were reported during the incident.
