Armed Robbery at Southeast Rochester Convenience Store Leads to Arrests

On the evening of October 1, 2023, an armed robbery occurred at a convenience store located in Southeast Rochester, Minnesota. The suspect, later identified as a man with a previous conviction for armed robbery, entered the store and demanded cash from the register at gunpoint. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Following the incident, police launched an investigation and made two arrests. The man, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, was charged with armed robbery. A woman, also involved in the incident, was charged with felony counts related to the violent event. The woman was identified as the driver of the getaway vehicle and was apprehended shortly after the robbery. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
