Armed Robbery at Westside Grocery in Albany

An armed robbery is under investigation at Westside Grocery, located at 1234 Westside Avenue in Albany, New York. The incident occurred on the evening of October 15, 2023. Two suspects, both armed with handguns, entered the store around 9:30 PM and demanded cash from the register. The suspects managed to escape with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no injuries were reported.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, heading eastbound on Westside Avenue.
