Auburn Man Arrested for Early Morning Apartment Break-In

Auburn, Washington - A man from Auburn was arrested by the Auburn Police Department following an early morning break-in at a local apartment. The incident occurred on October 2, 2023, at an apartment located on the 100 block of 3rd Street SE. The suspect, identified as a 32-year-old local resident, was apprehended by police shortly after the break-in. The suspect was able to escape the scene before police arrived, but was later found and arrested. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect gained entry to the apartment by forcing open a rear window. Once inside, the suspect stole a laptop and a small amount of cash, totaling approximately $1,200 in value.
