Beaumont Dollar General Store Robbed; Police Seek Public's Help

Beaumont, Texas — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying suspects involved in an aggravated robbery at a Dollar General store located at the intersection of Dowlen Road and Major Drive. The incident occurred on the evening of October 14, 2023. According to reports, two suspects entered the store, brandishing firearms, and demanded cash from the register. The robbers escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes valued at approximately $500.

The suspects were described as two Black males, both wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks. One suspect was reported to be wearing a black hoodie and black pants, while the other wore a gray hoodie and blue jeans. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, heading eastbound on Dowlen Road. Police have not made any arrests as of yet and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
