Burglary at Middle Island Business Leads to Arrests of Two Suspects

Two individuals from Port Jefferson and Middle Island were arrested for a series of business burglaries in Suffolk County, including a recent incident in Middle Island. The burglary occurred at a business located at 111 Middle Island Road. The suspects, identified as a 29-year-old man from Port Jefferson and a 30-year-old man from Middle Island, were apprehended after a thorough investigation by the Suffolk County Police Department. The suspects were charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and criminal possession of stolen property.

The burglary took place on the night of October 15, 2023. The suspects gained entry by breaking a window and then ransacked the premises. They stole approximately $5,000 worth of cash and merchandise. The suspects were apprehended after a high-speed chase that ensued following the burglary. No injuries were reported during the incident.
