Burglary Incident in Dayton Leads to Police and SWAT Response

On the evening of October 22, 2023, a burglary was reported in a Dayton neighborhood, prompting a swift response from local police and SWAT teams. The incident occurred at a residence on the 1400 block of West Third Street, where officers arrived to find that the suspects had gained entry through a rear window. The burglars made off with a significant amount of cash and jewelry, valued at approximately $10,000.

Upon arrival, police officers and SWAT teams quickly secured the area, blocking part of the busy street to ensure public safety. The suspects, who had already fled the scene, were later apprehended in a nearby neighborhood. One of the suspects was injured during the arrest and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
