Father and Son Fend Off Home Invasion Suspect in State College

On the evening of October 1, a home invasion suspect attempted to break into a residence on the 100 block of West Beaver Avenue in State College, Pennsylvania. The suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Justin Lee, entered the home through an unlocked door and confronted the homeowner, a 48-year-old father, and his 21-year-old son. The father and son were able to fend off the suspect, who was armed with a knife, by using a baseball bat and a flashlight to subdue him. The father sustained minor injuries during the altercation.
