Man Arrested for Burglarizing Kennewick Burger King, Trapping Employee in Freezer

On the night of October 1, 2023, a man broke into the Burger King located at 2001 W 6th Ave, Kennewick, Washington. The burglar forced his way into the restaurant through a back door, trapping an employee in the freezer. The employee was unharmed and later rescued by police.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old John Doe, stole an estimated $500 in cash and an undisclosed amount of food. After the burglary, Doe fled the scene on foot. He was later apprehended by police near the intersection of W 6th Ave and S Dayton St. The police appeal for any witnesses or additional information to come forward.
