Man Arrested for Knife-Point Robbery at Morgantown CVS

On September 19, 2023, a man attempted to rob the CVS pharmacy located at 1000 University Avenue in Morgantown, West Virginia, at around 9:30 PM. The suspect, armed with a knife, approached the pharmacy counter and demanded money and prescription drugs. The suspect was able to escape with an estimated $500 in cash and an unspecified amount of prescription medication. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

Police were able to apprehend the suspect, identified as a 32-year-old man from Pennsylvania, shortly after the incident. The suspect was charged with attempted robbery and possession of a deadly weapon. No injuries were reported during the incident.
