Man Arrested in Connection with Series of Armed Robberies in Portsmouth

Portsmouth, New Hampshire, police have arrested a man in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred in the city. The robberies took place on November 10, 2023, at a local convenience store located at 123 Main Street. The suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the store and demanded cash from the register. The robber fled the scene with an estimated $500 in cash.

The suspect was later identified as John Doe, a 35-year-old resident of Portsmouth. Police were able to apprehend Doe after a brief chase that ended in an alley behind 456 Elm Street. No injuries were reported during the incident. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could help in their ongoing investigation.
