Man Arrested in Connection with Winston-Salem Store Break-Ins

On October 1, 2023, a series of break-ins occurred at multiple stores in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incidents took place at the 1200 block of Silas Creek Parkway. The burglar used a rock to smash the glass doors of the stores, gaining entry and stealing various items. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be $5,000.

Winston-Salem Police Department spokesperson Officer J. Smith reported that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old John Doe, was arrested on October 2, 2023, after a brief chase. Doe was apprehended near the intersection of Silas Creek Parkway and University Parkway. No injuries were reported during the incidents or the arrest.
