Robbery at Abilene Ice Cream Shop

On May 23, 2023, a robbery was reported at an ice cream shop located at 2200 N. 1st Street in Abilene, Texas. The incident occurred around 9:30 PM, when an unknown suspect entered the shop and demanded cash from the register. The suspect, described as a male wearing a black hoodie and a mask, threatened the employees with a weapon but did not cause any physical harm. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Abilene Police Department responded to the scene and is actively investigating the incident. No arrests have been made as of yet.
