Robbery Suspect Killed in Pueblo After Police Pursuit

On October 1, 2023, a burglary occurred at a home in the 200 block of South Union Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado. The suspect entered the residence and stole approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry and electronics. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

Following the burglary, the suspect was spotted by police and a pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, the suspect pulled out a firearm, leading to a confrontation with law enforcement. The suspect was struck and killed by a Pueblo patrol car after pulling out a firearm. No injuries were reported among the officers involved in the incident. The suspect was later identified by the coroner.
